Within the last four decades, numerous scientific research studies have shown how mindfulness can enhance our overall well-being in a multitude of ways. Some of these benefits include an increase in concentration, creativity, quality of sleep, as well as a decrease in stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.

ABOUT
Corin A. De Sousa B.A, M.A.
She is passionate about teaching mindfulness for everyday living with an emphasis on both formal and informal mindfulness practices. Unique among mindfulness instructors, she highlights the importance of mindful activities and how to adapt these practices to suit different lifestyles.
Corin believes that accessibility should be at the forefront of healthcare and that is why she provides free programming at community health centres for people from all socio-economic backgrounds. Additionally, she prides herself on creating a safe and welcoming space for all, free of judgment and full of compassion.
In 2015, she started her journey with mindfulness as a way to cope with the challenges associated with her Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease (UCTD). With daily mindfulness, she has been able to better manage her symptoms, chronic pain, insomnia, and stress.
SERVICES
Corin provides one-of-a-kind content that includes guided meditations, mindful activities, breathing exercises, educational lectures, homework, and hand-outs. When teaching new students she emphasizes the importance of learning the foundations of mindfulness, as well as gaining a basic understanding of how and why each meditation/practice works. She teaches mindfulness in the form of mindfulness coaching, programs, and workshops.
Programming and workshops are provided by community health centres and corporations/businesses. For individual needs you can hire me for mindfulness coaching or check out the rates section for the list of community centres offering my progrmming for free.

A 6-week program that runs twice a year through Parkdale Golden Age Foundation. Free programming for seniors.

Tuesdays at 3:00PM - Zoom
Monthly workshops for youth through 360Kids Charity.

Fridays at 10:00AM - Zoom
A 8-week program that runs twice a year through Unison Health & Community Services. Program is in September and March of each year.

Wednesdays at 3:00PM - Zoom
Continuous 8-week programs at LAMP Community Health Centre.
